Preparation

  • Start by halving the baby potatoes to allow even cooking.
  • Place the halved potatoes in the Crockpot, spreading them evenly at the bottom.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ranch dressing, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, and a bit of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the potatoes and stir gently to coat.

Cooking

  • Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for about 4-6 hours until the potatoes are tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.

Serving

  • Once cooking time is up and the potatoes are tender, give them a final stir and garnish with chopped chives or green onions before serving.
