Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen meatballs You can use store-bought or homemade meatballs.
  • 20 oz can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve 1/4 cup juice) Adds sweetness to the dish.
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce Choose your preferred BBQ sauce.
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for better flavor.
  • to taste green onions or chives, chopped For garnish.

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, the reserved 1/4 cup of pineapple juice, and minced garlic. Stir well until blended.
  • Place the frozen meatballs evenly in your Crockpot.
  • Pour the mixed sauce over the meatballs, coating them thoroughly.
  • Scatter the drained pineapple chunks over the top of the meatballs.

Cooking

  • Cover the Crockpot and set it to cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours.
  • Stir once or twice during cooking to evenly distribute the sauce.

Serving

  • When the meatballs are tender, garnish with chopped green onions or chives before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the sauce. Use fresh garlic for enhanced flavor, and feel free to try different BBQ sauce varieties. This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
