  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot, spaced apart for even cooking. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring thorough coverage.
  • Pour chicken broth into the crockpot, surrounding the chicken.
  • Cover the crockpot and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Finishing

  • Once cooked, check chicken for doneness; it should be tender and easy to shred.
  • If desired, shred the chicken with two forks.
  • Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
