  • 3 cups cooked pasta (preferably fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Preparation

  • Start by placing your chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Flavoring the Chicken

  • Add the minced garlic on top of the chicken.
  • Pour in the chicken broth to keep the chicken moist.
  • Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to elevate the flavor.

Cooking

  • Set your slow cooker to low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours.
  • Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F and shreds easily with a fork.

Creamy Sauce Creation

  • After shredding the chicken in the slow cooker, stir in the heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Mix well until the cheese melts and combines with the cream, creating a sauce.

Combining with Pasta

  • Add the cooked pasta directly into the slow cooker and stir well to coat.
  • Optionally, sprinkle extra parmesan on top before serving.
