Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 package Cream Cheese 8 oz, cubed and softened
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 12 oz Pasta Penne, rotini, or your favorite
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream or half-and-half
  • Chopped Parsley for garnish Optional

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Pour chicken broth over the seasoned chicken.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top and add cubed cream cheese and minced garlic.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir to combine.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and add to the crockpot.
  • Stir in heavy cream or half-and-half until well combined.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
