Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 1 onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 packet French Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic powder, cooking until the onion softens, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove excess fat from the skillet and transfer the meat mixture to the Crockpot.
  • In the Crockpot, combine the beef mixture with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, beef broth, and French onion soup mix. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and cover until melted.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
