Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Fresh, high-quality chicken recommended.
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 cup salsa Choose your preferred level of spiciness.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning For flavor infusion.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Added for creamy texture.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the four boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Add the drained black beans and corn on top of the seasoned chicken.
  • Pour a cup of salsa over the entire mixture.
  • Cover your crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese to the crockpot and allow it to melt.
  • Once the cream cheese has melted, stir everything together to combine the flavors.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and let it melt before serving.
