  • 1 cup marinara sauce Choose your favorite marinara flavor.
  • 1 cup spinach (fresh or frozen) Fresh spinach preferred for better texture.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese For extra flavor, garnish with more Parmesan while serving.

Spices and Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to your preference.

Preparation

  • Pour the chicken or vegetable broth into the crockpot.
  • Add the marinara sauce and heavy cream, mixing well.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gently add the tortellini to the sauce mixture, ensuring each piece is submerged.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Approximately 30 minutes before serving, stir in the spinach.
  • When cooking time is nearing completion, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
