Preparation

  • Prepare your slow cooker by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Blend these ingredients well until smooth.

Cooking

  • Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the Crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well-coated.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, check the doneness of the chicken. It should be juicy and fully cooked through.
  • Shred the chicken directly in the Crockpot or leave the breasts whole. Stir the sauce well before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, mix in a slurry of cornstarch and water during the last 30 minutes. Allow leftovers to cool, then store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for 2-3 months.
