  • 1 teaspoon Salt More to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1-2 cups BBQ sauce Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced (optional) Adds sweetness as it caramelizes.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder (optional)

Preparation

  • Season the country style ribs with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder, ensuring even coating.
  • Arrange the seasoned ribs in the crockpot, laying them flat without overcrowding.
  • If using, place the sliced onion on top of the ribs.
  • Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs, fully coating them.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set to cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours until tender.
  • Once done, carefully remove the ribs from the crockpot and drizzle with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
