  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adjust according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Layer two slices of ham over each chicken breast.
  • Layer two slices of Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; stir until blended.
  • Pour the broth mixture over the layered chicken, ham, and cheese.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked through and tender, serve the dish, optionally sprinkling extra cheese on top.
