Main Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use fresh chicken for best flavor.
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 10.5 oz each Do not add water.
  • 1-2 tsp dried parsley For added flavor.
  • ½ tsp seasoned salt
  • ¼ tsp poultry seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ stick butter, sliced Will melt and enhance flavor.
  • 3.5 cups chicken broth Crucial for cooking chicken and noodles.
  • 8 oz uncooked egg noodles

Preparation

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Open the cans of cream of chicken soup and pour it over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the dried parsley, seasoned salt, poultry seasoning, and garlic powder over the soup and chicken.
  • Place the sliced butter on top of the ingredients.
  • Carefully pour the chicken broth over everything in the crockpot.

Cooking

  • Set your crockpot to cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooking time is up, shred the chicken using two forks in the crockpot.
  • Stir in the uncooked egg noodles, ensuring they are well mixed with the chicken and creamy broth.
  • Cover and continue cooking for another 30-45 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.

Notes
