  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta Can substitute with other pasta types
  • 2 cups chicken broth For richer flavor, use chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a creamier sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is best
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds aroma and flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Enhances overall flavor

  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Adds color and flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Layer the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic evenly over the chicken.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, ensuring the chicken is mostly submerged.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 4 hours or on high for approximately 2 hours.
  • Check the chicken for tenderness; it should shred easily.
  • Remove the chicken, shred it, and set aside.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until the cheese melts.
  • Add the uncooked fettuccine pasta, stirring gently to coat.
  • Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high, or until pasta is tender.
  • Give everything a final stir, adjusting seasoning as needed.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  • Serve with a side salad or garlic bread if desired.
