Preparation

  • Place the chicken thighs directly in the crockpot.
  • Pour the bourbon sauce mixture evenly over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot, mixing it with the sauce.

Serving

  • Spoon the bourbon chicken over rice or noodles and garnish with chopped green onions.
