  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey Choose according to your preference for flavor.
  • 1 onion chopped onion For depth of flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds aroma and flavor.
  • 24 oz spaghetti sauce Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 pound spaghetti Break in half to fit into the crock pot.
  • 2 cups water Helps cook the spaghetti.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • grated Parmesan cheese Optional for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brown the ground beef or turkey with the chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until the meat is no longer pink and the onions are translucent.
  • Drain any excess fat.

Cooking

  • In the crock pot, combine the cooked meat mixture with the spaghetti sauce and 2 cups of water, stirring to mix well.
  • Break the spaghetti in half to fit in the crock pot and push it down gently to submerge in the sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the spaghetti is tender.

Serving

  • Once cooked, give everything a good stir and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes
