  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed frozen shrimp for best results.
  • 2 cups corn on the cob, cut into pieces
  • 1 lb small potatoes, halved Ensure they are halved for even cooking.
  • 1 link sausage, sliced Any flavorful sausage works well.
  • 4 cups water This forms the base of the broth.
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 whole lemon, halved Squeeze juice over dish before serving.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning to preference.
  • as needed Fresh parsley for garnish Adds color and freshness.

Preparation

  • Pour the water into the Crock Pot and add the Old Bay seasoning.
  • Add the halved potatoes and sliced sausage to the pot.
  • Cook on high for about 3 hours.

Finishing

  • Add corn and shrimp to the pot and stir gently to combine.
  • Cook for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour until shrimp is cooked through.
  • Squeeze the juice of the lemon halves over the dish before serving.
  • Season with salt and pepper as desired and garnish with fresh parsley.
