Ingredients
  

Beef Patties

  • 1 pound ground beef Use premium ground beef for best flavor.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg Helps bind the patties.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper

Cooking Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped onion Adds sweetness and flavor.
  • 1 cup beef broth Use low-sodium for less salt.
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced White or other mushrooms can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For browning the patties.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Shape the beef mixture into patties of your desired size.

Browning

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the browned patties to the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Spread chopped onions and sliced mushrooms over the patties in the slow cooker.
  • Pour beef broth over everything, ensuring the patties are submerged.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Serving

  • Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice, soaking up the rich gravy.
