Instructions
Prepare your crock pot by ensuring it is clean and ready for use.
In the crock pot, combine 5 cups of whole milk and 16 oz of heavy whipping cream.
Add in 1/4 cup cocoa powder and 1/4 cup granulated sugar, mixing well to avoid clumps.
Pour in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and add a pinch of kosher salt.
Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and combined.
Add 1 cup of milk chocolate chips, stirring to incorporate them into the mixture.
Cover the crock pot and set it to low heat. Cook for about 1 hour.
After an hour, whisk the hot chocolate again to ensure everything is well mixed.
Keep the hot chocolate warm until ready to serve, and enjoy!
