Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 piece green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 piece yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4-6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips or bite-sized pieces.
  • Prepare the vegetables by slicing the green, red, yellow bell peppers, and onion.

Cooking

  • Layer the sliced chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the sliced bell peppers and onions on top of the chicken.
  • Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce over the chicken and veggies.
  • Cover the Crock Pot and set to cook on low for about 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Thirty minutes before serving, place the provolone cheese on top of the mixture.
  • Check that the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F) and stir gently before serving.

Notes

You can serve the chicken cheesesteak mixture on hoagie rolls, buns, or tortillas. Experiment with different cheeses for a unique flavor.
