Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounces)
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix (1 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • as needed Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spray the inside of the Crock Pot with cooking spray or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, dry Italian dressing mix, and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly covered.
  • Cut the stick of butter into slices and place them on top of the mixture in the Crock Pot.

Cooking

  • Cover the pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce using two forks and mix everything together to ensure coated evenly.
  • Taste and adjust with salt and black pepper if needed before serving.

Notes
