  • 6 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Opt for high-quality chicken.
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter Melt over low heat.
  • 1 package dry Italian salad dressing mix (0.7 oz)
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth Adjust for thickness as needed.
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta Cook according to package instructions.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper For seasoning the chicken.

Preparation

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
  • Season the chicken with a sprinkle of salt and a dash of black pepper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  • Add the softened cream cheese, condensed cream of chicken soup, dry Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth to the melted butter.
  • Whisk the mixture until smooth and fully combined, ensuring no lumps.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken breasts in the crock pot.

Cooking

  • Cover the crock pot and set it to cook on low heat for about 4 hours.
  • About 15 minutes before the cooking time ends, prepare the angel hair pasta in a separate pot according to package directions.
  • Once cooked, drain the pasta well to remove excess water.

Serving

  • Serve the tender chicken on a bed of angel hair pasta and spoon some of the creamy sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
