Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

For the Coating

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs Mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

For the Pickles

  • 16 oz Dill pickles (whole or spears) Sliced into quarters or spears

For Frying

  • enough as needed Cooking oil For deep frying, canola or vegetable oil recommended

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Drain the dill pickles and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
  • Fill each pickle slice with the cheese mixture using a small spoon or knife.
  • Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and spices.

Breading and Frying

  • Dip each stuffed pickle into flour, then beaten egg, and finally into the panko mixture until fully coated.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  • Carefully lower the coated pickles into the hot oil and fry them in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-4 minutes.
  • Remove the bites from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Serve hot with dipping sauces such as ranch dressing or spicy mustard.

Notes

Ensure pickles are thoroughly dried before filling to avoid soggy coating. Chill pickles helps prevent leaking cheese during frying. Experiment with different cheeses and spices for customization.
