Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cutting the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and another with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Dip each salmon piece into the flour, shaking off any excess.
  • Next, dip the floured salmon into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Dredge the salmon in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon bites in a single layer and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and grated ginger. Cook over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Once the salmon bites are done frying, remove them and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  • Drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the salmon bites and toss to coat. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure the salmon cubes are dry before breading. Avoid overcrowding the pan when frying to achieve even cooking. You can bake the bites for a healthier option.
