Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, finely chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs, like parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola) Enough to cover the bottom of the pan

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Finely chop the chicken breasts into small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine chopped chicken, breadcrumbs, flour, egg, Parmesan (if using), minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Scoop a spoonful of the chicken mixture into the pan and flatten it slightly.
  • Fry fritters for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Drain the cooked fritters on paper towel-lined plate and repeat until all mixture is cooked.

Serving

  • Serve the fritters warm with dipping sauces or as part of a complete meal.
