Ingredients
  

  • 3 lb. chicken wings split with tips removed
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tsp. Diamond Crystal kosher salt (or 1 tsp. of any other type of salt)
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika regular or smoked, depending on your preference

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line two rimmed baking sheets with foil. If using wire racks, place them on top to allow heat circulation.
  • Toss the chicken wings in a large bowl with the melted butter until evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets, ensuring they do not touch each other.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • For extra crispiness, lower the oven temperature to 170°F and bake for an additional 30-60 minutes.
  • Transfer the wings to a serving plate and serve hot, plain or with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for about 10-15 minutes.
