  • 4 pieces cod fillets Ensure they are completely thawed
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Can increase for a thicker crust
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 piece egg Whisked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing before cooking
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg until smooth.
  • Dip each cod fillet into the egg, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Dredge the coated cod in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs stick well.
  • Lightly brush both sides of the cod fillets with olive oil.
  • Place the coated cod fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the cod flakes easily with a fork and has a golden crust.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
