Filling Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded Imitation crab can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 stalks green onions, finely chopped Can be used as a garnish as well.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers Gluten-free options available.
  • 1 spray Cooking spray or olive oil For a golden finish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients blend together nicely.
  • Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and place about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center.
  • Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half diagonally, pressing to seal. You can also crimp the edges to ensure it is well sealed.
  • Repeat this process until all the filling is used.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly spray each crab rangoon with cooking spray or brush with olive oil for a golden finish.

Cooking

  • Place the crab rangoon in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd; you want them to cook evenly.
  • Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
