  • 1 package package of store-bought gnocchi (about 16 ounces) Fresh or refrigerated gnocchi is preferred for better texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Essential for achieving a crispy crust.
  • to taste none Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste none Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional none Optional seasonings (like garlic powder, Italian herbs, or paprika) Customize to taste.
  • optional none Fresh parsley or basil for garnish Optional but adds freshness.
  • optional none Parmesan cheese for topping Optional, adds flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the gnocchi with olive oil, salt, and pepper. If you’re using optional seasonings, add them at this stage. Toss everything until the gnocchi is well-coated.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned gnocchi in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Air fry the gnocchi for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The gnocchi should be golden brown and crispy.
  • Once done, remove the gnocchi from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
  • If desired, sprinkle fresh herbs and Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

To maintain crispiness, allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 5-7 minutes.
