Preparation

  • In a small glass bowl, combine the sugar and hot water. Heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds until the sugar fully dissolves.
  • Allow the sugar mixture to cool slightly, then stir in the evaporated milk and almond extract.

Combining Ingredients

  • Pour the sugar mixture into a large punch bowl.
  • Add the half-gallon of vanilla ice cream and use a potato masher to break the ice cream into small chunks.
  • Slowly pour in the entire 2-liter bottle of 7UP®, gently stirring to combine.

Serving

  • Spoon the punch into serving glasses, ensuring each portion includes ice cream.
  • Top each serving with whipped cream and colorful sprinkles if desired.
