uncooked pasta

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the tomato paste and cook for another minute. Then add tomato sauce and heavy cream. Stir until smooth.
Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
Combine the drained pasta with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Add a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
Serve hot, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
To make it your own, add sautéed vegetables, grilled chicken, or a pinch of chili flakes for heat. Use gluten-free pasta or dairy-free cream for dietary preferences.
