Ingredients
  

For the seafood filling

  • 20 large large pasta shells
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Reserve half for topping
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Reserve half for topping
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For assembly

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Stir in the crab meat, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked seafood mixture with ricotta cheese, cream cheese, half of the mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assembly and Baking

  • Take each pasta shell and fill it with the seafood mixture. Place the stuffed shells in a baking dish, opening side up.
  • Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
