  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish Optional

Instructions

  • Start by placing the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir these together until everything is blended smoothly.
  • Pour the ranch mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring the chicken is well covered.

Cooking

  • Cover the crock pot and set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before the cooking time is up, check the chicken to ensure it is cooked and tender.

  • Stir in the sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  • Cover the crock pot again and let it cook for another 30 minutes on low.

Serving
