Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
While pasta cooks, cut cream cheese into smaller pieces for quicker melting. Microwave briefly if needed until soft.
Return drained pasta to the pot. Add softened cream cheese and butter, cover for about a minute to let it melt.
Remove the lid and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and parsley. Mix well.
Gradually add reserved pasta water, about 1/4 cup at a time, stirring until you achieve a creamy consistency. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
If desired, add grated Parmesan cheese for extra richness. Serve immediately.
