  • 1.5 cups frozen cranberries Use frozen for a thicker texture.
  • 1 ripe banana ripe banana (room temperature) Break into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  • 0.25 cup yogurt Use Greek, plain, or vanilla yogurt.
  • 0.5 cup orange juice or milk You can also use sweetened cranberry juice.
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract This ingredient is optional.
  • 1.5 tablespoons honey or pure maple syrup Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 12 pieces ice cubes

Preparation

  • Start by collecting all the ingredients you need.
  • Take the ripe banana and break it into smaller pieces.
  • Add the frozen cranberries, banana pieces, yogurt, and your choice of liquid (orange juice or milk) into the blender. If using, add the vanilla extract at this stage.
  • Drizzle in honey or pure maple syrup.
  • Add the ice cubes to the mixture.
  • Secure the lid on the blender and blend until all ingredients are combined. If needed, scrape down the sides for an even blend.
  • Taste your smoothie and adjust the sweetness if necessary.
  • Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for up to two days.

Notes
