Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Add-ins

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Fresh cranberries are recommended for the best flavor.
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a loaf pan to prevent the bread from sticking.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until evenly combined.
  • In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: orange juice, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the fresh cranberries and the orange zest.

Baking

  • Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center.
  • Once done, cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Serving

  • Slice the bread once completely cool and enjoy it plain or with butter or cream cheese.
