Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon stick, and optional orange zest and jalapeño.
Heat over medium heat until the mixture simmers, stirring occasionally.
Simmer until cranberries pop and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
Soften cream cheese in the microwave for about 10 seconds or at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Place softened cream cheese on a serving plate and spoon the cooled cranberry sauce on top.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans and green onion tops before serving.
