Main ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped Use fresh for best flavor; frozen can be substituted.
  • 1 cup cottage cheese Provides creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Adds extra creaminess and tang.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Your choice, mozzarella and cheddar work well.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For added flavor.

Spices and seasonings

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional red pepper flakes For extra spice.

Garnish (optional)

  • to taste chopped fresh herbs Dill or parsley for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  • Add the chopped spinach, shredded cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until everything is combined.
  • Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  • If desired, add red pepper flakes and mix again.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a smoother dip, blend the cottage cheese before mixing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) before serving.
