  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder For a rich chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For additional flavor
  • 1/4 cup almond milk Or milk of your choice
  • a pinch salt To enhance flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by draining the cottage cheese if it has excess liquid.
  • In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Add the almond milk and blend again until creamy and fluffy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey or maple syrup if desired.
  • Transfer the mousse to serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

Serving

  • Stir the mousse gently before serving and top with optional toppings if desired.
