Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • 10 cookies Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar. Beat until smooth and well combined (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until fully blended, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients on low speed until a sticky dough forms.
  • Fold in the coarsely chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets using a small cookie scoop (about 2 tablespoons). Roll into balls and press down lightly.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and centers appear slightly underbaked.
  • Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
