Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water, removing any damaged or shriveled berries.
  • Combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, ground cinnamon, orange marmalade, and water in a crockpot.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set to low heat. Cook for 6-8 hours until the cranberries burst and meld with the other ingredients.
  • Check consistency; if too thin, cook longer with the lid off to evaporate some liquid.

Serving

  • Allow the sauce to cool, then transfer to a serving bowl and optionally sprinkle with extra cinnamon.
