Circus Animal Puppy Chow
A playful mix of Rice Chex cereal, melted chocolate, and colorful sprinkles that brings joy to any occasion.

- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for better flavor.
- 1 cup white candy melts Melt in intervals for smooth consistency.
- 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust based on desired sweetness.
- 1 cup colorful sprinkles or confetti candies
- 1/4 cup butter Melted for chocolate coating.
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt Enhances sweetness.
Instructions
Preparation
- Measure out the Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips and melt while stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and stir to coat evenly.
Coating
- In a large zipper bag or bowl, combine the powdered sugar and colorful sprinkles.
- Add the chocolate-coated cereal and shake or stir until coated.
- Spread the coated mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool.
- Melt the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Drizzle melted candy over the cooled mixture and sprinkle more colorful candies on top.
Serving
- Allow to cool for about 30 minutes before breaking into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve in bowls or package in mason jars as gifts.

Notes
