Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 50 large marshmallows For a gooey base
  • 1 teaspoon green gel food coloring For the festive color
  • 4.5 cups corn flake cereal Provides texture and crunch

  • 1/4 cup red cinnamon candies To decorate the wreaths

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Making the Mixture

  • In a medium or large heavy saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the large marshmallows to the pan. Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in the green gel food coloring until evenly distributed.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the cornflake cereal and pour the warm marshmallow mixture over it. Gently mix without crushing the cereal.

Shaping and Decorating

  • Using a heaping teaspoon measure, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape them into wreath forms with slightly greased hands.
  • While the mixture is still warm, press a few red cinnamon candies into each wreath.
  • Allow the wreaths to sit at room temperature for about an hour to harden.
