  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 15.35 ounces)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Use fresh cream cheese for best results.
  • 1 cup green chocolate melts For coating the truffles.

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs are formed. Use a food processor or a sealed bag and a rolling pin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese, and stir until the mixture is smooth and thick.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a walnut, and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Coating

  • Melt the green chocolate melts according to the package instructions.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and let excess drip off.
  • Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle decorations on top of each truffle.
  • Refrigerate truffles for about 30 minutes to let the chocolate harden.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze them with layers of parchment paper between each layer.
