  • 9 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Cereal
  • 9 cups Mini Marshmallows Fresh marshmallows recommended for best texture.
  • 9 tablespoons Butter (Sweet Cream, Salted) Use fresh butter for optimal flavor.

Coloring and Decor

  • as needed Wilton Color Right Food Coloring (Red, Crimson, Yellow, Blue) Use different colors for different batches.
  • as needed Nonpareils Christmas Sprinkles For decoration.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and tools, including a medium pan, a spatula for stirring, and a measuring scoop for shaping your bites.
  • In the medium pan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Once melted, add 3 cups of mini marshmallows and stir continuously until melted.
  • Remove from heat and add a few drops of red food coloring, stirring until evenly distributed.
  • Fold in 3 cups of Kellogg’s Rice Krispie cereal, mixing until every piece is coated. Optionally add Christmas sprinkles.
  • Allow mixtures to cool slightly, then measure about 0.6 ounces and roll into bite-sized balls.
  • Repeat steps 2-5 with different food coloring for green and white batches.
  • Let the bites cool completely on a tray.

Notes
