  • 1 package Pretzel rods
  • 1 pound Chocolate (milk, dark, or white) Choose your preferred type of chocolate.
  • 1 cup Sprinkles (various colors) Use festive colors.
  • 1/2 cup Drizzle chocolate (optional) For extra decoration.

Preparation

  • Start by breaking the chocolate into smaller pieces and placing it in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat the chocolate in the microwave in increments of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until it becomes silky smooth.
  • Take each pretzel rod and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about half of the pretzel rod.
  • Remove the pretzel rod from the chocolate and gently shake it to rid excess chocolate.
  • Before the chocolate sets, roll or sprinkle your pretzel rods with colorful sprinkles.
  • Place the decorated pretzel rods on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • If desired, melt some additional chocolate and drizzle it over the top of each pretzel rod.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool completely, which may take around 30 minutes at room temperature or about 10 minutes in the fridge.
  • Once the chocolate is fully set and hardened, you can package these pretzel rods or serve them immediately.
