Christmas Ornament Oreo Pops
Delightfully festive and easy-to-make Oreo pops, perfect for holiday gatherings and gift-giving.
Ingredients
Candy Melts
- 16 ounces Wilton dark green candy melts
- 16 ounces Wilton red candy melts
Main Ingredients
- 25 pieces lollipop sticks or popsicle sticks
- 13.2 ounces package of Mega-Stuf Oreos
- 7 ounces bag of unwrapped miniature white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter cups
- 1 cup mini M&M candies
- 1/2 cup assorted Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
Preparation
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted green chocolate, then press it into the white filling of an Oreo cookie about halfway.
- Repeat with half of the Oreos and arrange them on the baking sheet. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
- Melt the red candy melts in a separate bowl.
- Dip the remaining Oreo pops into the melted red chocolate, ensuring they are well-coated. Insert sticks and place them on another baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for another 5 minutes.
Decoration
- Melt more green candy melts in a bowl.
- Dip each refrigerated green Oreo pop into the melted chocolate and top with a miniature white chocolate Reese’s cup and decorate with mini M&Ms and assorted Christmas sprinkles.
- Repeat the same dipping and decorating process for the red Oreo pops and chill in the refrigerator for an additional 5 minutes.
Serving Suggestion
- Serve chilled or at room temperature, displayed in a decorative stand or holiday-themed jar.
- Consider packaging them as gifts in treat bags tied with colorful ribbons.
