Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¾ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Softened.
  • cups White Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp Almond Extract
  • 3 cups Icing Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • Food Coloring Optional.
  • Sprinkles Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and white sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture; beat until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool on wire racks.
  • In a separate bowl, mix icing sugar with milk to create a smooth icing. Add food coloring if desired.
  • Once cookies are cooled, decorate with icing and sprinkles as desired.

Notes
