Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and white sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture; beat until fully incorporated.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool on wire racks.
In a separate bowl, mix icing sugar with milk to create a smooth icing. Add food coloring if desired.
Once cookies are cooled, decorate with icing and sprinkles as desired.
