  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder Use high-quality cocoa for richer flavor
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup Or sweetener of choice, for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor

Optional Toppings

  • sliced bananas For a sweet touch
  • berries Any berries can be used
  • nut butter Almond or peanut butter for richness
  • granola For crunch and texture

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the cocoa powder is evenly distributed.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until everything combines thoroughly.
  • Divide the oat mixture into individual jars or containers, sealing each tightly.
  • Refrigerate the jars overnight, allowing the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.

Serving

  • In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add additional almond milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  • Top with your favorite ingredients such as sliced bananas, berries, nut butter, or granola before serving.

Notes

Store in airtight containers for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. Separate moist toppings until ready to eat to prevent sogginess. Can be frozen for longer storage, but texture may change.
