These delightful chocolate marshmallow treats combine a crunchy graham cracker base with fluffy marshmallows and melted chocolate, creating a perfect dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

Crust Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs Finely crushed
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Topping Ingredients

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate for richer flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the mini marshmallows over the warm crust. Let them soften for a few minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the softened marshmallows, spreading it evenly.
  • Return the baking dish to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the marshmallows start to brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.

Notes
