  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Butter the insides of the ramekins and dust them lightly with cocoa powder.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Heat in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring between each interval.
  • Add the powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Beat in the whole eggs and egg yolks until the mixture is light and fluffy, then incorporate the vanilla extract.
  • Sift in the all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt, folding gently until just combined.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about three-quarters full.

Baking

  • Place the ramekins on a baking tray and bake for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the centers are still soft.
  • Remove from the oven and let them sit for a minute before inverting them onto dessert plates. Serve immediately.
